Nick & Jessica: In the Holiday Mood!

Pop princess JESSICA SIMPSON and hot hubby NICK LACHEY are getting ready for the holiday season with their own variety special for ABC. Tonight on ET, we're behind the scenes of "Nick and Jessica's Family Christmas" with the popular "Newlyweds" pair!
Airing just in time for the holidays, "Nick and Jessica's Family Christmas" will be a decidedly family affair, as Jessica's sister ASHLEE SIMPSON and Nick's brother DREW also bring some holiday cheer to the proceedings. There will be plenty of music and some comedy sketches, and the entire Simpson/Lachey clan -- 33 in all -- will gather together to participate in a carol singalong!
"Everybody's flying in from Texas and Cincinnati and all over," Jessica says. "It kind of reminds us of our wedding. That was the last time that happened, so it's very special."
The "In this Skin" star says she'll be performing onstage with her sister, Ashlee, for the first time publicly: "She's been so successful this year. It's going to be so amazing to be up onstage with her!"
Nick also tells us that the holiday special will even include a special mystery reunion! Could it be with his old pop supergroup 98 DEGREES? "I've heard rumblings but I can't confirm or deny those rumors," Nick says with a wink. "But it will be a special reunion."
Plus, with the help of modern technology, Jessica will be singing "White Christmas" with BING CROSBY, just like NATALIE COLE did with her "Unforgettable" duet with her late father, NAT KING COLE.
And, of course, there will be more lighthearted comedy skits, which Jessica says are her favorite part: "We like doing the comedy sketches because it's just fun to make fun of ourselves and make people laugh and be kinda campy."
These days, Nick and Jessica aren't just about making folks laugh. They have their plates full with all sorts of projects. In addition to their MTV reality show "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica" and recording "A Whole New World" duet for the new 'Aladdin' DVD, Jessica is set to star as Daisy Duke in the upcoming 'Dukes of Hazzard' movie opposite JOHNNY KNOXVILLE and SEANN WILLIAM SCOTT. Meanwhile, Nick is shooting episodes of "Charmed," has been working on the upcoming 'Bewitched' movie with NICOLE KIDMAN and is filming the upcoming crime-drama 'The Hard Easy'!
