Former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker (http://justjared.buzznet.com/tags/travis-barker/) and Adam Goldstein (http://justjared.buzznet.com/tags/adam-goldstein/), aka DJ AM, were injured in a plane crash that killed four people (3 males, 1 female) and critically injured two, NBC News (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26803108/) reports.
Both Travis and DJ AM were in critical condition as of Saturday morning and transported to a burn center in Augusta, Georgia.
The FAA said the plane carrying six people was departing from South Carolina’s Columbia Metropolitan Airport headed to Van Nuys, Calif., when an air traffic controller reported seeing sparks. The plane went off the runway and crashed on a nearby road.
Travis performed Friday night at an event with Perry Farrel, Gavin DeGraw, and DJ AM. Earlier this month, Travis and DJ AM were the house band at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Travis, DJ AM, their friends and family.

According to TMZ (http://www.tmz.com/2008/09/20/condition-update-barker-and-dj-am/) one of the people who died was Travis' assistant Chris. He was newly married with a new baby :(

Also, according to TMZ, both Travis and DJAM hurried to get out of the plane once it came to a halt thus saving their lives entirely.

Travis is burned from the waist down and DJAM has severe burns on his face.

That just gave me chills straight to the bone...My heart goes out to all of them :(

I pray for all families of the deceased and injured in this story, what a tragedy.

It is definitely tragic. Burns are one of the worst injuries you can get. They are very painful and few ever fully recover without severe scars. Thankfully, these people have the money to pay for the best reconstructive surgery.

It is very sad! I hope they all make a few recovry. Like LuvLachey said, burns are one of the worst injuries anyone could suffer. They usually have physical scars as well as emotional scars.

I just love these two, they are amazing artist!! I will pray for them and there familes, and the ones who were lost, I watch that asst. of Travis barkers on His reality show w/ Shanna, So SAD!!:(:(:(:(:(
